Human Beings:

• Are made in the image of God
• Are unable to get to know God on their own
• Are only able to get to know god through Jesus Christ
• Will be for ever separated from God unless they accept the offer of eternal life through Jesus Christ
• Need to make a personal decision to accept JesusChrist as the Saviour and Lord
• Have a responsibility to live according to God's principles as indicated in the Bible and, in particular, to obey the commands of Jesus Christ
• Should demonstrate their submission to Jesus Christ by being baptised and by joining and being involved in a local church
• Are empowered to live as God's people because He sends His Holy Spirit into their lives when they accept Jesus as their Saviour and Lord

• Has revealed his will and purpose in the Bible
• Has entered into life in this world in Jesus Christ
• allowed Jesus Christ to be crucified and, through his death, made eternal life possible for all people
• Has demonstrated the unique status of Jesus as His son by raising him from the dead
• Is creating a community of people who are his representative in this world and who are being prepared for the life to come
• Will send Jesus back to this world to reign as King in a renewed earth which will be characterised by justice, righteousness and the absence ofdisease and death

God:
